Kolkata's position as one of India's fastest-growing technology destinations has received another major boost. Kolkata-headquartered customer experience and business process management company Fusion CX has announced an investment of ₹100 crore to establish a new IT and ITeS campus at the Bengal Silicon Valley Tech Hub in New Town.

The company has acquired 1.06 acres of land in Action Area II, where it plans to develop an 11-storey campus with a built-up area of nearly 2 lakh sq ft. The project will be executed over the next three years and is expected to significantly strengthen Fusion CX's global delivery capabilities.

One of the biggest highlights of the investment is its employment potential. Once fully operational, the campus is expected to generate more than 9,000 direct jobs, creating new opportunities for professionals across technology, customer experience, business process management, and support functions.

The investment is another strong vote of confidence in West Bengal's rapidly expanding digital economy. Bengal Silicon Valley, envisioned as the state's flagship technology hub, has been attracting increasing interest from leading IT and technology companies due to its world-class infrastructure, strategic location, and skilled talent pool.

For Kolkata, the project reinforces the city's growing reputation as a preferred destination for technology investments. Homegrown companies expanding within the city demonstrate the confidence businesses have in Bengal's ecosystem, while also contributing to employment generation and long-term economic growth.

As Bengal continues to attract investments across IT, electronics, and digital services, developments like Fusion CX's new campus further strengthen Kolkata's journey towards becoming one of India's leading technology and innovation hubs.
