Motorola Solutions Leases 200+ Seats with Smartworks in Kolkata

In another strong indicator of Kolkata’s growing position as a business and technology hub, Motorola Solutions has leased over 200 seats with Smartworks, one of India’s leading managed office space providers.

The lease spans 60 months at Smartworks’ 110,000 sq. ft. managed office centre in Kolkata, underlining the increasing demand for flexible and tech-enabled workspaces in the city.

Smartworks has been on a rapid expansion spree, leasing over one million sq. ft. of workspace across Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, and Kolkata in the April–June 2025 quarter. With a portfolio of 10.08 million sq. ft. as of June 30, and more under development, the company continues to shape the future of modern work environments in India.
