Siliguri, Bengal — In a milestone moment for Bengal’s digital economy, Fusion CX, one of the world’s leading customer experience (CX) management companies, has inaugurated a 54,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art delivery center in Siliguri.
The facility, formally opened by Shri Babul Supriyo, Hon’ble Minister of the Department of Information Technology & Electronics, Government of West Bengal, marks a significant expansion of Fusion CX’s footprint in Bengal while strengthening its global delivery network.
Founded in Kolkata, Fusion CX has always carried its Bengal roots proudly even as it grew into a global enterprise with 23 delivery centers across 14 countries. The new Siliguri facility, with a 1,000-seat capacity, is designed to deliver cutting-edge CX solutions spanning AI, data annotation, BFSI, retail, healthcare, telecom, and e-commerce support.
“From Siliguri to the World” isn’t just a slogan — it reflects a larger shift. Siliguri, strategically located as a gateway to North Bengal and the Northeast, is fast emerging as a hub for new-age services. With its young, multilingual talent pool and growing connectivity, the city is positioned to contribute meaningfully to India’s CX transformation.
The center is expected to generate hundreds of new career opportunities in customer experience management, AI-led services, and digital transformation. This aligns with West Bengal’s push to expand IT & ITeS beyond Kolkata, bringing quality employment to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
At the inauguration, Minister Babul Supriyo emphasized how initiatives like this contribute to both regional development and global competitiveness for Bengal’s IT sector.
This expansion is a testament to the vision of Fusion CX’s leadership team, led by Pankaj Dhanuka and Kishore Saraogi, and powered by a global management group that continues to invest in innovation and scale.
The PTI report highlights that Fusion CX, with over 14,000 professionals worldwide, aims to strengthen its omnichannel capabilities and deliver enhanced solutions for clients across industries. The Siliguri launch is not just about infrastructure—it is about creating an ecosystem where talent from Bengal can serve the world.
At Kolkata Calling, we believe stories like these deserve the spotlight. Bengal’s future lies not just in nostalgia, but in its ability to create new hubs of excellence across the state. Siliguri’s rise as a digital services destination is a reminder that Bengal can — and will — play a decisive role in India’s tech-driven growth story.
