SPML Infra Wins ₹1,073 Cr Indore Water Supply Project Under AMRUT 2.0

Kolkata-based SPML Infra has secured a landmark ₹1,073 crore (including GST) contract from the Indore Municipal Corporation to strengthen the city’s water supply infrastructure under the Government of India’s AMRUT 2.0 mission.

 

The project is designed to ensure reliable access to safe drinking water for more than 2 million citizens of Indore, reinforcing the mission’s vision of creating water-secure and self-reliant Indian cities.

 

Project Highlights

 

  • Intake & Pumping: Construction of a 1,650 MLD intake and a modern Raw Water Pump House
  • Water Treatment: Establishment of a 400 MLD Water Treatment Plant (WTP) meeting stringent quality norms
  • Transmission Network: 22 km of pipelines (1200 mm to 2337 mm diameter) with booster pumping stations
  • Power Backbone: A 132/33 kV substation to support smooth operations
  • Sustainability: A 10-year O&M contract with structured escalation provisions

 

The EPC portion of the project is targeted for completion within 30 months (including rainy seasons).
